[Financial News]  The Ministry of Justice announced on the 13th, "A fan is installed in the living room and the temperature of the detention building is checked daily to manage during the hot season."
The Ministry of Justice refuted the claim by lawyer Kim Gyeri that Seoul Detention Center is not providing basic treatment to former President Yoon Seok-yeol, saying "This is not true." They emphasized, "It is the same solitary cell as the general living room."
Regarding outdoor exercise, the Ministry of Justice explained, "The outdoor exercise for detainees is conducted within 1 hour during the workday," and "The outdoor exercise time and frequency for former President Yoon are the same as for general detainees."
They added, "However, to block contact with other detainees, it is conducted alone," and "It is conducted normally except in unavoidable cases such as lawyer visits and court appearances."
Regarding detainee deposit money, they stated, "It is regulated with a limit of 4 million won per person, and if it exceeds this, an account is opened in the detainee's name at the bank dealing with the institution, deposited, and kept, and paid upon release."
They continued, "After the detention of former President Yoon Seok-yeol, a virtual account for detainee deposit money was opened, and the account information was notified to the legal team for deposit," adding, "However, detailed information such as the amount of deposit is personal information and cannot be disclosed."
The Ministry of Justice added regarding lawyer visits, "It is conducted in a separate space with air conditioning, the same as for general detainees," and "Repeatedly disclosing claims that are not true can confuse the public."
Previously, lawyer Kim Gyeri claimed on Facebook that former President Yoon is in a poor environment and is not even guaranteed proper exercise time.
