A model is promoting health food convenience meals for the hottest days of summer. Provided by BGF Retail

[Financial News] BGF Retail, which operates the convenience store CU, announced on the 13th that it will launch two types of health food convenience meals for the hottest days of summer, featuring eel and smoked duck, to boost energy ahead of the first of the hottest days.
CU's summer health foods, available from the 15th, are premium set meals with plump and tender freshwater eel and smoked duck with the fat removed, available for under 10,000 won.
The whole freshwater eel set meal is topped with a generous amount of egg garnish on rice, with a whole soft grilled freshwater eel marinated in teriyaki sauce. The smoked duck set meal is a lunch box with tender and lean smoked duck served with pickled radish wraps.
Representative health food menus such as Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup), HMR, instant-cooked chicken, and related noodle products will also be on discount and gift promotions throughout July.
Popular items like fried chicken and boneless chicken baskets, which are in high demand during the hottest days, will have blanket discounts applied.
CJ Bibigo Samgyetang will be available with a 1+1 offer, and Harim Demeal Chicken Leg Samgyetang will be discounted to a price under 10,000 won per serving.
Other items like Pulmuone Sagol Yangji Seolleongtang, Najusik Soyuk Gomtang, and traditional Doganitang will have cross 1+1 promotions, and when purchasing Cinnamon Roll Chogye Guksu, a cup of ice will be provided as a cool accompaniment. Additionally, Harim Samgyetang Noodles and Today's Dakgomtang and Dakgaejang Ramen will have a 2+1 offer, and when purchasing Harim Samgyetang Noodles, a serving of glutinous rice will be provided.
