[Financial News] Lotte affiliate convenience store 7-Eleven announced on the 13th that it has opened the futuristic store 'New Wave' 4th branch near Jonggak Station in Seoul.
New Wave is a new store model introduced by 7-Eleven since October last year for a new leap forward.
It aims to build a young brand image with a modern sensibility space design by organizing customized food, fashion, and beauty products based on commercial area analysis.
The New Wave Jonggak Branch has strengthened instant foods such as pizza, roasted sweet potatoes, coffee, and chicken by creating the counter in a food court style in a 132㎡ (40 pyeong) space.
Fresh foods and alcoholic beverages like wine, as well as fashion and beauty products, are also arranged in separate concept spaces. Instant noodles and tourist products are also available to meet the demand of foreign tourists.
Park Sewon, the head of 7-Eleven's development strategy team, said, "We plan to actively expand the franchise strategy of the New Wave model to key locations nationwide," adding, "We aim to firmly establish ourselves as a close-to-life platform that offers experiences that change lives."
