[Financial News] Convenience store GS25 announced on the 13th that it has selected Gang Haneul, manager of the Suwon Bukmun Branch (22), who saved a collapsed customer with CPR, as a 'GS Hero'.
Manager Gang performed CPR on a male customer in his 50s who collapsed showing symptoms of cardiac arrest at the store around 11:47 AM on the 5th, saving his life. It is reported that the customer is recovering after undergoing surgery at the hospital.
Manager Gang said, "I was able to respond quickly because I learned CPR through emergency response videos," and "I'm really glad the customer is safe."
'GS Hero' is a system where GS25 rewards franchise owners or employees who perform socially exemplary acts such as life-saving, sharing, and volunteering.
Heo Seohong, CEO of GS Retail, awarded Manager Gang with a reward of 1 million won and expressed gratitude.
