[Financial News] Prime Minister Kim Min-seok emphasized regarding the medical students' declaration of return, "The pain of pushing 2,000 people like a spell was too great and deep for everyone," and "I will find a way to bear fruit."
Previously, medical students who had left school in protest against the government's plan to increase medical school admissions declared their return to school on the 12th. It has been about 1 year and 5 months since those who took a collective leave of absence expressed their intention to return.
The Korean Medical Students Association (KMSA) declared their return, saying, "We will trust the National Assembly and the government and strive to normalize medical school education and the medical system by having all students return to school."
Regarding this, Prime Minister Kim said, "The medical community and the National Assembly declared the return of medical students and sought the government's cooperation," evaluating it as "a big step forward." He continued, "Ultimately, the will of the people is important. So that the people can help solve the problem, it is time for the medical community, the National Assembly, and the government to take a deeper look," he responded.
