"I can seduce your girlfriend in 10 minutes".. 20s sentenced to prison for wielding a beer mug at a friend

[Financial News] A man in his 20s was sentenced to prison for assault after getting angry at a friend who said he could seduce his girlfriend in 10 minutes and wielding a beer mug. 

Chuncheon District Court Criminal Division 1 sentenced 28-year-old Mr. A, who was indicted on charges of special injury, to six months in prison with a two-year suspended sentence and ordered 80 hours of community service.

Mr. A was investigated for splashing a drink on the face of 26-year-old Mr. B, who said, "I can seduce your girlfriend in 10 minutes," and hitting him once with a beer mug in anger.

It was also found that he splashed soup from a bowl on the face, grabbed and shook the hair with his hand, causing injuries such as tooth damage requiring two weeks of treatment.

The court stated, "The sentence was determined considering the acknowledgment of wrongdoing and remorse, the amicable settlement with the victim, the somewhat understandable circumstances of the crime, and the not severe degree of harm."
