[Financial News] Kim Gaeri, who served as a lawyer for the impeachment trial of former President Yoon Seok-yeol, disclosed the deposit account number.
"Couldn't Buy Anything" Former President Yoon's Account Disclosed
On the 11th, Lawyer Kim stated on his Facebook, "It is unlikely that the President would carry cash, so he entered without a penny and couldn't buy anything," adding, "Until yesterday, I was told that the deposit could not be made because the official detention number had not been assigned."
He continued, "The detention number was issued late yesterday, and everyone was busy with the search and seizure this morning. I hurriedly deposited the money as it had to be deposited before 4 PM to purchase items before the weekend," and disclosed the deposit account number.
Lawyer Kim remarked, "It is emotionally taxing for a lawyer when a client is detained twice," and pointed out, "The rule of law should not be invaded by politics, but it is evident that all such areas are collapsing."
He stated, "This is not just about the President's case," adding, "You may not understand what this means. Next, it will be your turn."
He further criticized, "It's not like he embezzled billions through development corruption, nor did he hand over money to the Reds. Even if everything is thoroughly investigated, there is nothing personally embezzled, yet being enraged becomes a crime leading to a special investigation. A coup is called a special investigation."
"Deposit Limit is 4 Million Won.. Transfers Can Receive More"
On the same day, Lawyer Kim mentioned in another post, "Many people are inquiring after I posted the detention center account," adding, "As far as I know, the deposit limit is 4 million won, but transfers can receive more."
He continued, "It is difficult to verify the exact administrative details as it was Friday evening when the account was opened with just that limit," adding, "Even if you are curious, please wait until Monday, and I will inquire with the detention center and inform you again."
Meanwhile, former President Yoon, who was detained on the 10th, was moved to a 2-pyeong solitary cell in the general detention wing of Seoul Detention Center, and his detention number was confirmed to be '3617'.
