[Financial News] A heat wave warning is in effect in most areas of the country, and it will be very hot, especially in the western and inland areas.
On the 12th, according to the Korea Meteorological Administration, as of 5 a.m. today, the temperatures in major areas are as follows: Seoul 24.8°C, Incheon 25.5°C, Suwon 24.0°C, Chuncheon 19.9°C, Gangneung 20.7°C, Cheongju 24.3°C, Daejeon 22.7°C, Jeonju 24.3°C, Gwangju 24.2°C, Jeju 24.5°C, Daegu 22.0°C, Busan 23.9°C, Ulsan 23.0°C, Changwon 23.6°C.
The highest daytime temperatures are forecasted to be between 27 and 36°C.
Due to the influence of the east wind, there is a possibility that the heat wave warning may be eased or lifted in some eastern areas and places with rain forecasts.
Jeju Island will be mostly cloudy with rain.
The expected rainfall is 10 to 60 mm in Jeju Island (more than 80 mm in some areas).
The concentration of fine dust will be at a 'good' level across all regions due to smooth atmospheric diffusion.
The sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters high in the coastal waters of the East Sea, West Sea, and South Sea.
The wave height in the open sea (about 200 km from the coastline) is expected to be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea, and 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the South Sea.
