[Financial News] Supporters of former President Yoon Seok-yeol are calling for improved detention conditions and are making phone complaints to the Seoul Detention Center where former President Yoon is detained, causing difficulties for the detention center.

According to the Herald Economy on the 11th, they are demanding the installation of an air conditioner in former President Yoon's solitary cell and treatment for him. In particular, they are sharing posts encouraging calls by including the Seoul Detention Center's phone number, fax, and email address.

On social networking service (SNS) threads, supporters of former President Yoon are sharing the phone number, fax number, and email address of the Seoul Detention Center in real-time. This is to urge for improved living conditions inside the detention center after it became known that former President Yoon was detained in a solitary cell following his arrest in the early hours of the 10th.

One supporter has gone so far as to share specific methods for sending faxes, along with the content, in addition to phone and email. They also explained methods to send a fax without a fax machine.

The fax content shared by the supporter includes statements such as "Leaving a person in a place without an air conditioner is tantamount to murder" and "We will definitely inform the international community about this politically motivated arrest."

Meanwhile, another supporter shared an account of calling certain departments within the detention center and argued about whether a public official can hang up on a complaint call.

Regarding this, according to the media, a Seoul Detention Center official said, "Since former President Yoon was detained, inquiries from supporters have continued. They mainly demand air conditioning installation and treatment," adding, "However, as a correctional facility is a security facility, we explain that details about the internal facilities are confidential."

Previously, former President Yoon was re-admitted to the Seoul Detention Center 124 days after an arrest warrant was issued around 2 a.m. on the 10th. It is reported that former President Yoon is detained in a solitary cell of about 2 pyeong. This is smaller than the 3 pyeong cells where former Presidents Lee Myung-bak and Park Geun-hye were detained.

It is known that due to the severe overcrowding issue within the detention center, a smaller solitary cell was assigned. Additionally, it is reported that there is no air conditioner in the general detention block where former President Yoon is detained, and cooling is done through a fixed fan.
