[fn Closing Market] KOSPI Retreats to 3170 Level, KOSDAQ Surpasses 800 Level

[Financial News] The KOSPI surpassed the 3200 level during the session on the 11th but closed at the 3170 level. On this day, the KOSPI closed at 3175.77, down 7.46p (0.23%) from the previous trading day.

The KOSPI started at 3186.35, up 3.12p (0.10%) from the previous trading day, and seemed to continue above the 3200 level in the early session but fell below the 3200 level around 9:21 AM. It then showed a pattern of repeated rises and falls.

In the domestic stock market, while individuals bought 146.6 billion won worth of stocks, foreigners and institutions sold 126.7 billion won and 66.4 billion won worth, respectively.

Among the top 14 stocks by market capitalization, Samsung Electronics (2.62%), LG Energy Solution (1.10%), Kia (0.70%), and KB Financial (0.43%) ended the session with gains.

On the other hand, Hanwha Aerospace (-5.51%), Doosan Enerbility (-4.12%), Samsung C&T (-3.15%), and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (-3.12%) showed a downward trend.

The KOSDAQ index closed at 800.47, up 2.77p (0.35%) from the previous trading day. The index started at 799.96, up 2.26p (0.28%).
