[Financial News] BIGBANG's G-Dragon suddenly canceled the world tour scheduled for August in Thailand, citing "heatwave and safety issues."
On the 11th, G-Dragon's agency, Galaxy Corporation, stated, "We regret to announce that the world tour 'Weaver Manch' concert scheduled for August 2 has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances."
They further explained, "The cancellation of this concert is due to the unprecedented and record-breaking heatwave, which has resulted in cases of heatstroke, and the decision was made considering the characteristics of the outdoor venue, Rajamangala National Stadium."
They also stated, "Please understand that all decisions were made with your safety as the top priority," and added, "We will announce the alternative venue and concert schedule as soon as possible, avoiding the heatwave and rainy season and considering safety."
Ticket reservations have not yet been made, so there is no need for refund procedures.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon has been meeting global fans through the 'Weaver Manch' concert, starting in Korea last March. He will perform in Taiwan for three days on the 11th and continue the tour in Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, the United States, France, and more.
