HD Hyundai 1% Nanum Foundation Supports Vulnerable Groups in Yeongam and Mokpo with Summer Supplies

【Financial News Yeongam=Hwang Tae-jong Reporter】HD Hyundai Samho, together with HD Hyundai 1% Nanum Foundation, has started providing various support supplies to help vulnerable groups in Yeongam and Mokpo regions stay cool during the hot summer.
According to HD Hyundai Samho on the 11th, employees including General Affairs Manager Seo Chang-su visited Yeongam County and Mokpo City to deliver home meal kits worth 30 million won to a total of 300 households, 150 low-income households each.
The support targets were selected through recommendations from each local government among households within 80% of the median income, including basic livelihood security recipients, single-parent families, the elderly living alone, and the near-poor.
This delivery of support supplies was carried out through the designated donation method of the 'Happy Supporters Project' by HD Hyundai 1% Nanum Foundation. The funds were prepared through a fund created by collecting 1% of the salaries of group employees by HD Hyundai 1% Nanum Foundation.
HD Hyundai Samho also plans to deliver support supplies worth 50 million won to 58 senior centers in Samho-eup, Yeongam County, on the 14th. Dehumidifiers, sofas, tables, etc., for the health and safety of local seniors will be supported, and infection prevention education will also be conducted.
A representative from HD Hyundai Samho said, "This support was prepared to help the local underprivileged and seniors spend the hot summer healthily and safely."
Meanwhile, HD Hyundai 1% Nanum Foundation and HD Hyundai Samho have been consistently conducting various social contribution activities centered on Mokpo and Yeongam regions, such as delivering summer and winter supplies, supporting children aging out of care, sponsoring welfare facilities, providing side dishes to local seniors with 'Happy Meal', and supporting disaster recovery.
