[Financial News] Isu Petasys announced on the 11th that it is preparing for mass production of accelerator PCBs for AI chips through cooperation with domestic AI semiconductor startups Rebellions and FuriosaAI.
Rebellions is gaining attention in the domestic AI chip market with its self-developed AI inference chip 'ATOM' and its high-performance version 'ATOM-Max'. FuriosaAI is preparing the high-performance AI accelerator 'Renegade' based on a large language model (LLM) and multimodal. Both chips are characterized by high-speed data transmission, and Isu Petasys is responsible for producing optimized high-layer PCBs. Currently, related technology verification and prototype supply are underway.
Through this cooperation, Isu Petasys aims to strengthen its position as a core infrastructure supplier in the domestic AI semiconductor ecosystem, beyond simple component supply. It is expected to contribute to the self-reliance of the domestic AI industry by technically supporting the commercialization of AI chip-based systems and servers in Korea, based on manufacturing capabilities accumulated in the global AI market.
An official from Isu Petasys stated, “When the products of Rebellions and FuriosaAI are fully commercialized in the future, our high-value-added PCB technology will be able to expand its competitiveness in the AI infrastructure market both domestically and internationally.”
Meanwhile, Isu Petasys recorded sales of 836.9 billion KRW, operating profit of 101.9 billion KRW, and net profit of 74 billion KRW on a consolidated basis in 2024. In 2025, it expects even higher growth through cooperation with global IT companies as well as promising domestic companies based on specialized technology.
