[Financial News] Boram Bio, a subsidiary of Green Bio under Boram Group, has launched three new 'spout pouch drinks' that can easily replenish moisture in summer. These zero-sugar, low-calorie products capture both 'health' and 'taste', and aim to target the summer beverage market with functionality and portability as their strategy.
Boram Bio recently announced on the 11th that it has introduced three new products: △Crispy Drinking Green Grape △Crispy Drinking Pineapple △Green Grape Konjac Jelly. These are follow-up products that gained attention with the 'Crispy Drinking Watermelon' and 'Watermelon Konjac Jelly' series.
The 'Crispy Drinking' series combines real fruit juice with aloe vera gel and nata de coco (coconut jelly) for both a chewy texture and refreshing sensation. The new green grape product contains 18.54% fruit juice, while the pineapple product contains 14.58% fruit juice, emphasizing a tangy taste. The portable spout pouch container can be frozen and consumed like a sorbet, making it suitable as a summer snack.
'Green Grape Konjac Jelly' is a drink-type snack composed of zero sugar and 5kcal low calories. It uses konjac to enhance satiety and includes green grape concentrate to stimulate the appetite.
A Boram Bio representative stated, "As the demand for functional fruit drinks increases during the hot summer, we are expanding production," and added, "We plan to continuously release products that can capture both health and taste in everyday life."
The new products are currently available for purchase through online channels such as Coupang and Naver Store, and some products are also distributed through offline channels like Oasis Market and Emart24 convenience stores.
Meanwhile, Boram Bio, established in 1999, is a company that develops functional raw materials and pharmaceuticals based on natural substances, with a lineup of health functional foods considering the entire life cycle. Recently, it has been expanding its product range in the F&B sector, capturing both health and taste, thereby broadening its market presence.
