【Financial News Daegu=Kim Jang-wook Reporter】 Daegu Transportation Corporation was recognized for its exemplary practice of a win-win labor-management culture through dialogue and cooperation.
Daegu Transportation Corporation (hereafter referred to as the Corporation) announced on the 11th that it achieved the feat of being selected as a '2025 Excellent Labor-Management Culture Company' organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor on the 10th.
This year, a total of 40 companies nationwide, including 8 public institutions, 19 small and medium enterprises, and 13 large enterprises, were finally selected through regional document reviews and case presentations, including the Corporation.
Kim Ki-hyeok, the president, emphasized, "The selection as an Excellent Labor-Management Culture Company is the result of continuous communication and trust with the members, working together towards a common goal," and "We will continue to strive to establish a healthy workplace culture based on partnership between labor and management and provide safe transportation services trusted by citizens."
In particular, the Corporation is the first essential maintenance business site to sign a 'Multiple Union Solution Agreement' in 2024 and has maintained a record of 19 consecutive years without disputes.
Additionally, it has been noted as a model case of public institution labor-management relations by smoothly concluding wage and collective agreements without separate adjustment procedures through building trust between labor and labor.
Furthermore, by continuously practicing joint social contribution activities such as blood donation volunteering, it received a commendation from the Director of the Blood Management Headquarters of the Korean Red Cross on June 14.
Additionally, it is leading the way in fulfilling its social responsibilities as a public institution, including activities of the Cham Sarang Volunteer Group, operating the DTRO Scholarship Foundation, and providing free rental of official vehicles to the transportation disadvantaged.
Meanwhile, institutions selected as Excellent Labor-Management Culture Companies receive certification and various administrative and financial incentives from the government.
