Applications until the 24th, support for installation and operation of commercial area revitalization organizations until December, implementation of pilot projects, etc.
This project is led by cities and counties to conduct surveys and comprehensive plans at the city and county level, and to promote projects that reflect local characteristics and field diversity to create a citizen-friendly economic city.
Gyeongsangwon will recruit 12 cities and counties divided into Type I, targeting cities and counties with commercial area revitalization organizations or similar organizations, and Type II, targeting cities and counties without such organizations.
Cities and counties can apply for only one of the two types.
Selected cities and counties will be supported in the installation and operation of commercial area revitalization organizations, conducting surveys and comprehensive plans, and implementing pilot projects for commercial area revitalization. The support amount is around 600 million won for Type I and 400 million won for Type II, with 50% matched by provincial funds and 50% by city/county funds.
The support period is from the selection date until December 31.
Gyeongsangwon Director Kim Min-cheol said, "This project is a project that considers the entire city through surveys and comprehensive plans that reflect regional characteristics," adding, "We expect the citizen economy to revive by creating a sustainable support system such as the installation and operation of commercial area revitalization organizations."
