Daegu Kansong Art Museum announced on the 11th that it is offering special memories to visitors with events and educational programs linked to the exhibition 'Hwajomigam' in celebration of the summer vacation, ahead of the exhibition's closing on August 3.
First, the 'Kansong Art Lecture' is a special lecture program where experts from various fields participate to share in-depth stories contained in Hwajo paintings.
In particular, a special time with 'Wildflower Poet' Na Tae-joo and the exhibition planner (I Rang, curator) is scheduled for the 16th. They will appreciate Joseon Dynasty flower and animal paintings together, engage in a dialogue about the perception of nature by era, and convey deep contemplation and warm comfort intertwined with poetry, calligraphy, and painting.
The 'Hwajomigam' related experience program is also gaining great popularity among visitors. From 3 PM to 5 PM daily, the 'Ham (Box) Project' is held in the central hall on the first floor of the museum, where the whole family can participate.
For young visitors, experience programs using natural objects such as seeds and sounds are provided, while teenagers and adults can creatively experience the expression methods of Hwajo paintings through masking tape drawing, stamp letter writing, etc.
