[Financial News]  Information security specialist company Softcamp announced on the 11th that it has signed a strategic business agreement with security solution company MarkAny to jointly respond to security demands.
This agreement is a three-company cooperation model that includes Softcamp's subsidiary RedPenSoft. It is a strategic collaboration to respond to market changes where the importance of information security is growing as the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and Software as a Service (SaaS) accelerates.
Through this agreement, Softcamp and MarkAny plan to establish a cooperative system based on complementary security solutions and quickly respond to the demand for information leakage prevention and data protection in the rapidly changing IT work environment.
This cooperation is centered around the following three key solutions.
Softcamp SHIELD Gate is a web isolation (RBI) based secure remote access service that meets the security demand for safe SaaS and internet connections in the internal work environment as the flow of network separation eases. It effectively blocks malware intrusion and internal resource leakage during the data transmission process by acting as an intermediary for user terminals and SaaS and internet access in environments where direct internet connection is difficult.
MarkAny Screen Tracer is a screen security solution applying invisible watermark technology, which can accurately identify and track the leaker in case of an information leakage incident through a PC screen.
RedPenSoft XSCAN is a software supply chain security service from the user's perspective that automatically generates a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) to secure visibility of open-source and commercial software, quickly identifying potential security threats and suggesting countermeasures.
Hwan-guk Bae, CEO of Softcamp, said, “The collaboration with MarkAny is based on a common goal of combining complementary security solutions to provide a safer remote work environment for customers.”
The CEO of MarkAny stated, “We will continue to realize customer-centered innovation in the rapidly changing security environment through close cooperation with Softcamp.”
