Ju Jin-woo Criticizes 'Master of Flattery' Kang Seon-woo Over 'Power Abuse Allegations'

[Financial News]  Ju Jin-woo, a representative of the People's Power Party, criticized Kang Seon-woo, a candidate for Minister of Gender Equality and Family, who is accused of power abuse towards former staff, calling her a 'master of flattery'.

Representative Ju posted a video and article link on his Facebook account on the 10th, comparing the 'tissue staff power abuse allegations' with 'master of flattery'.

The video was taken during President Lee Jae-myung's hunger strike in 2003 when he was the leader of the Democratic Party. It shows candidate Kang covering President Lee with a blanket at the protest site.

Representative Ju sarcastically remarked, “Kang Seon-woo, who took care of Representative Lee's bedding with utmost devotion, 'Master of Flattery Kang Seon-woo vs. Master of Power Abuse Kang Seon-woo'” and added, “The catchphrase 'I will reveal it at the hearing' is repeated today.”

Together with the opposition party, Representative Ju is strongly criticizing candidate Kang.
The People's Power Party Staff Association commented on the same day, “Allegations have been raised that candidate Kang repeatedly forced household chores on her staff during her tenure as a 21st National Assembly member, making them perform tasks unrelated to their duties,” and pointed out, “If true, it is a clear abuse of power and workplace bullying.”

Cheon Ha-ram, acting leader and floor leader of the Reform New Party, also urged resignation, saying, “We cannot appoint a congressman who behaves like a mentally deranged queen as a minister.”
