This marks the seventh publication of the Hana Securities Sustainability Management Report, which includes Hana Securities' ESG management activities, activity achievements by category, and future plans.
In particular, starting this year, the IRO (Impact-Risk-Opportunity) evaluation method was introduced to disclose the results of a comprehensive and three-dimensional analysis of major issues such as 'sustainable finance' and 'financial consumer protection and customer satisfaction enhancement'. IRO is an evaluation method that assesses the degree of impact and likelihood of occurrence of major issues on the environment, society, and companies.
In addition, interviews with internal employees and external stakeholders were included to provide various perspectives on Hana Securities' social value creation, thereby enhancing the credibility of the report.
Sangmyeon Gal, head of Hana Securities ESG Headquarters, explained, "As ESG has become an essential condition for sustainable management, Hana Securities will also plan substantial activities while considering its roles and responsibilities," adding, "We will make every effort to naturally incorporate ESG standards into the decision-making process and to advance ESG governance."kakim@fnnews.com Kyungah Kim, Reporter
