Police Conduct Search and Seizure at Suspect's Residence in 'Sillim-dong Knife Rampage'

[Financial News] The police have launched a forced investigation into the suspect who wielded a knife against neighbors and then jumped to his death in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul.
Seoul Gwanak Police Station announced that they conducted a search and seizure at the residence of a man in his 30s, Mr. A, located in a villa in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, from around 2:20 PM on the 2nd.
Mr. A wielded a knife at two men living in the same villa on the evening of the 29th of last month and then jumped to his death from the rooftop. The victims, who suffered injuries to their shoulders and ankles, received treatment at the hospital.
The victims testified to the police that they had no acquaintance with Mr. A.
The police plan to understand Mr. A's motive for the crime based on the clues secured through the search and seizure.
