[Financial News] A video showing a ticket booth employee swearing when asked for a monorail ticket refund has been released, causing controversy.

On the 12th, forest streamer Geumbyeol released a video titled "Got cursed at while traveling" through her YouTube channel.

In the released video, Geumbyeol is seen holding a monorail ticket and asking the ticket booth employee, "Excuse me, I didn't ride this (monorail), can I get a refund?" However, the employee replied, "We're closed now," and asked, "Why didn't you ride it?"

A man nearby said, "Please give a refund," but the employee repeatedly showed discomfort, asking, "Are you asking for a refund without a special reason?" Geumbyeol expressed her frustration, saying, "If it's not possible, just say so."

After receiving the refund, Geumbyeol said, "Goodbye," and left, but through the microphone, the employee was heard swearing, "X-Chin X-Lai." Geumbyeol was taken aback, saying, "Is this something to be cursed at for?" The video recorded over 2.2 million views, spreading the controversy online.

Later, Geumbyeol revealed through the video comments that "with the active actions of surrounding colleagues and viewers, I received an apology letter from the monorail side," and she disclosed the apology letter.

According to the letter, the monorail side stated, "We sincerely apologize to streamer Geumbyeol and her subscribers who must have been greatly shocked by the unfortunate behavior of our company," and promised to "thoroughly educate employees to prevent such incidents." It is also known that the employee was given a one-month pay cut.
