[Financial News] A story was conveyed of a man who wants to divorce his wife, who shows violent behavior resembling the character of his tattoo-covered father-in-law.
On the 6th, JTBC 'Sageonbangjang' aired a story submitted by a man in his 40s, Mr. A, who is contemplating divorce.
Mr. A said, "I first met my wife on a blind date, and within two months, she was pregnant," adding, "Due to the premarital pregnancy, we hurriedly proceeded with the formal meeting and marriage."
Mr. A noted, "There was something strange at the formal meeting," saying, "Even though it was midsummer, my father-in-law came wearing long sleeves that covered his neck." He recalled, "I also continuously saw my father-in-law speaking to my mother-in-law in a commanding tone at the dining table."
At that time, Mr. A thought his father-in-law was just a masculine and charismatic person, but he was "shocked when visiting the in-laws after marriage," saying, "My father-in-law not only treated my mother-in-law poorly but also embarrassed her by getting angry and saying, 'Why is the side dish like this?'"
Mr. A revealed, "The problem is that my wife inherited my father-in-law's temperamental nature," adding, "Even if she gets slightly upset, she curses and taps my head and face or throws things like the remote control."
Mr. A, who was assaulted after trying to record his wife's violent behavior, said, "I went to the in-laws to discuss this issue," revealing, "My father-in-law was dressed comfortably, and his upper body was covered in tattoos."
Mr. A sought advice, saying, "Even when watching dramas about school violence, my wife defends the perpetrator, saying, 'Isn't the person who got bullied a fool?' I don't think I can leave my daughter with such a violent wife, so I want a divorce."
Attorney Park Ji-hoon, who heard the story, analyzed, "Based on the story alone, the wife's violence seems habitual," adding, "If you can prove the wife's problematic behavior, you can sufficiently get a divorce, and the custody can also be obtained by the storyteller."
