[Financial News] The Democratic Party and the People Power Party attacked each other on the 29th, claiming that adverse events would occur if the other took power.
First, Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party's presidential candidate, argued at a campaign in front of Seoul's Seocho-gu Express Bus Terminal Station that "whenever a conservative regime takes power, major disasters occur."
Candidate Lee mentioned the Itaewon disaster and the Osong underground road flooding, pointing out that "our people suffered due to the incompetence of the Yoon Seok-yeol regime."
In response, Kwon Seong-dong, floor leader of the People Power Party, pointed out that housing prices rose whenever a progressive government was established in the past.
Floor leader Kwon criticized on the same day on social media, saying, "Whenever the Democratic Party takes power, housing prices always soar, and unfair housing policies exacerbate the suffering of the common people."
He emphasized, "When the People Power Party takes power, housing prices stabilize relatively, and not tying things up with regulations is the core of the market economy. That's why it's the People Power Party and Kim Moon-soo (candidate)."
