[Financial News] Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party presidential candidate, stated on the 29th, "The People's Power Party cannot even be a conservative party," and declared, "I will take on the role of conservatism myself."

Candidate Lee, during a campaign at Gwanaksan Eutteum Park in Seoul, pointed out, "The value of conservatism is to maintain community order, but the People's Power Party does not follow the rules themselves."

Candidate Lee explained, "In a sensible society, if one breaks rules and gains unfair benefits, they should be reclaimed, and corresponding criminal responsibility should be imposed, but the People's Power Party does not recognize the rightful share of others, the opposition."

Additionally, Candidate Lee criticized, "Can crime be a value of conservatism?" and said, "(The People's Power Party) plans to capture people like Lee Jae-myung, Jeong Cheong-rae, Woo Won-sik, and either execute them or imprison them for life in a military court, or if that's too bothersome, put them on a ship to Yeonpyeong Island to be blown up."

Candidate Lee conveyed, "In the past, they pretended to be fake conservatives, but now they don't even pretend," and added, "If they had properly upheld the values of rational conservatism, we could have engaged in rational competition within the moderate progressive realm, but now they have completely abandoned even the formal role of conservatism, so I intend to take on the role of upholding the values of rational conservatism."
