Korea Racing Authority "Enjoy Free Horse Riding Experience at Taejongdae Amusement Park"

Operating on weekends from tomorrow until early July
Korea Racing Authority announced on the 29th that from the 31st to July 6th, every weekend, they will operate the 'Urban Park Horse Riding Festival' at Busan Taejongdae Amusement Park, allowing local residents to experience horse riding for free.

The horse riding experience will involve retired racehorses that have transformed into riding horses through taming and training. Additionally, for the health and welfare of the horses, a 15-minute break will be given after a 45-minute riding experience.

The horse riding experience is free of charge. You can apply on-site without prior reservation. Horse riding is available to anyone in the nation who is at least 105 cm tall and weighs no more than 75 kg, considering the safety of the participants. At the event site, safety personnel with professional qualifications are deployed to help local residents safely experience horse riding.

At the event site, there will also be an exhibition of small horses such as ponies, allowing children and students to see the horses up close and take photos with them. Let's Run Park Busan Gyeongnam will hold a free admission ticket issuance promotion and a drawing event. From June 28th to July 6th, the urban park horse riding experience will be held in conjunction with the 2025 Hydrangea Flower Culture Festival at Busan Taejongdae Amusement Park.

Jeong Ki-hwan, Chairman of Korea Racing Authority, stated, "Through the urban horse riding experience, we hope people will feel a sense of familiarity with horses and that their horse riding experience will lead to regular horse riding."
