Kim Moon-soo, the People's Power presidential candidate, rejected the request for unification and embarked on a schedule to complete the presidential election. Lee Jun-seok, the Reform Party candidate, on the first day of early voting, the 29th, targeted Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party presidential candidate, with a full-fledged 'family risk'. It is interpreted as a strategy to influence public opinion by highlighting 'family risk', such as shifting the focus of the crude remarks about women's bodies mentioned in the TV debate on the 27th to Lee Jae-myung's son. As the Democratic Party and the People's Power actively jumped into the controversy, the confrontation is swelling further.

Lee Jun-seok held an emergency press conference this morning and mentioned the past online expressions and criminal records of Lee Jae-myung's eldest son, Lee Dong-ho, saying, "We cannot confuse the public again with the names Kim Hye-kyung and Lee Dong-ho. We must not repeat Yoon Seok-yeol's failure." Lee Jun-seok explained, "The expression in question is not my creation, but part of a post directly uploaded by Lee Jae-myung's eldest son, Lee Dong-ho, on an internet community," and "A candidate who talks about human rights should have confirmed what judgment they make about such expressions, and Lee Jae-myung should have confirmed what sense of responsibility he has for his family's deviation." He then launched a fierce attack, saying, "The most serious problem is Lee Jae-myung," and "Lee Dong-ho committed illegal gambling over 700 times, totaling 2.3 billion won, in addition to low-level hate speech for nearly two years."

The major parties also jumped into the heated debate stirred up by Lee Jun-seok. The Democratic Party, which filed a complaint with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency the day before, claiming that Lee Jun-seok's 'chopstick remark' violated the Public Official Election Act, countered, "It is false information spread with the purpose of defeat."

Cho Seung-rae, the chief spokesperson of the Democratic Party's Central Election Countermeasures Committee, said in a briefing that day, "The expression itself is a low-grade obscene offensive, so it led to creation," and "Regardless of whether the candidate's son made the remark, changing the gender to ask a question related to misogyny is false."

On the other hand, the People's Power said, "The person involved should apologize," aligning with Lee Jun-seok's claims. Kwon Seong-dong, the floor leader of the People's Power, said, "If Lee Jun-seok, who quoted the problematic remark, committed verbal violence and misogyny, then Lee Jae-myung's son, who actually did it, is the perpetrator of hate violence," and "Isn't it Lee Jae-myung, who constantly causes family-related controversies, who should resign immediately?"
