Kim Seok-jung, Senior Marketing Planning Team at Nongshim, who participated in the '2025 Seoul Food Distribution Expo (K-Food Show)' held by Financial News on the 28th-29th at Seoul Plaza and The Plaza Hotel Seoul, explained the reason for choosing Banana Kick and Bread Manager as the booth's participating snacks.

Banana Kick, first launched in 1978, is a traditional representative snack of Nongshim with nearly 50 years of history. It is a steady seller product that has been loved for nearly 50 years due to its unique fruit flavor and soft texture, which is hard to find in the market. Recently, after Blackpink's Jennie appeared on a talk show in the United States and named Nongshim's 'Banana Kick' as her favorite snack, the popularity of the 'Kick Series' has greatly increased in the global market. Melon Kick, which was released as a 'younger sibling' concept of Banana Kick, is also popular. Kim said, "Since there are no melon-flavored snacks, it is unique and people respond well to it."

Bread Manager is also one of Nongshim's representative snacks, promoted alongside the 'Kick Series'. Bread Manager is gaining popularity, especially in Asia. Kim said, "Overseas customers also deliberately buy it when they visit Korea," adding, "You can enjoy popular bakery flavors such as salt bread, chocolate bread, and garlic bread as snacks." The Nongshim booth, which had various events prepared, was crowded with participants from morning to afternoon for two days.
