Hyundai Steel showcased its product technology in the automotive steel plate sector to major European clients. According to the industry on the 29th, Hyundai Steel recently held a 'Customers Day' by inviting major European clients to the WRC (World Rally Championship) Portugal Rally. It was an opportunity to introduce automotive steel plate production technology, the U.S. electric arc furnace steel mill project, the electric arc furnace-blast furnace hybrid process construction status, performance evaluation results of carbon reduction products, and global-level technology and business operation capabilities.

Hyundai Steel is steadily operating its automotive steel plate business in the European market based on continuous collaboration with clients. It plans to strengthen collaboration with global clients by providing customer-tailored technology solutions and establishing a system to quickly respond to rapidly changing regulations in various countries around the world.

After the meeting, clients visited the WRC service park to see the racing cars with the Hyundai Steel logo, noting that Hyundai Steel materials were applied to key components. They visited the actual stadium to cheer for the race with WRC fans worldwide, sharing an immersive experience. Hyundai Steel's clients evaluated that they could once again confirm their trust in Hyundai Steel's technology and brand.

A Hyundai Steel representative said, "This event was a meaningful time to directly showcase Hyundai Steel's global technological competitiveness and to solidify partnerships with European clients," adding, "We plan to actively promote our technology and business capabilities by expanding contact points with clients in major global markets."
