ETEVERS announced on the 29th that it held a Media Day at the ETEVERS Tower auditorium in Jung-gu, Seoul, under the theme of 'Introduction of Cloud Standardization and Cloud Portal Business'.
This event was prepared to share strategies to accelerate the transformation of corporate data centers based on Broadcom's product VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation) and to enable practical cloud operational innovation through standardized infrastructure and services and intuitive portal introduction in a complex cloud environment.
ETEVERS promoted the VCF-based cloud standardization project 'VCF Unified Experience (VUE)'. This project focuses on lowering the entry barriers to cloud adoption and operation and increasing actual customer utilization by providing an integrated standard experience from cloud infrastructure design to service configuration and user portal.
VUE is completed through △VCF-based standard architecture 'EVCS (ETEVERS VMware Cloud Standard)' △Cloud service template 'BVP (Broadcom Value Pack)' utilizing Broadcom technology △ETEVERS's own portal technology 'Orbrium'. Through this, customers can manage the entire process of cloud operation, from infrastructure design to construction, service deployment, user access, and policy management, on a consistent standard basis.
In particular, the cloud portal Orbrium contains the meaning of a space (Rium) where the 'magic orb (Orb)' that realizes cloud orders exists. Designed to approach the complex cloud construction and service provision process more intuitively and systematically, Orbrium provides a variety of functions required in actual business environments.
By encompassing essential elements such as corporate authentication system (SSO) linkage, approval process, communication function, and cost management function, it greatly enhances administrator work efficiency while significantly improving user convenience. In addition, it provides a practical cloud governance foundation by offering integrated management functions for various log collection and visualization functions and multi-region environments, supporting the overall cloud operation of enterprises.
Through this Media Day, ETEVERS presented an 'Executable Cloud' model equipped with a standardized user experience and management system, beyond simple infrastructure provision, from the perspective that 'cloud is no longer technology but experience'. Based on Broadcom's proven technology, it plans to support the spread and stable settlement of VCF-based clouds by adding customer-tailored design and field-centered operational know-how.
Lee Jeong-hyun, Executive Director of ETEVERS SDI Business Division, said, “The VCF Unified Experience (VUE) project presents a standardized model that considers practical operational performance and user experience beyond technology-centered cloud adoption,” adding, “In particular, Orbrium will play a key role in helping companies utilize the cloud more easily and systematically as a cloud portal that connects various complex elements that occur during cloud construction and operation into one flow.”
