【Financial News Incheon=Han Gap-soo, reporter】 Kim Moon-soo, the People's Power presidential candidate, toured the Incheon area, including Inha University Station Square, Songdo International City, Jayu Park, Bupyeong Cultural Street, and Moraenae Market, appealing for support by saying, "Protect democracy and prevent dictatorship."
On this day, starting at 11:30 AM, the rally at Inha University Station Square lasted about an hour, with around 1000 residents and supporters gathered.
Candidate Kim emphasized, "If I become president, I will be a business president who can attract many global companies to Incheon. I will be an economic president who revives the economy. I will be a people's president who ensures small businesses thrive."
Candidate Kim promised, "Inha University is famous for its engineering college, and I will create a startup incubation center where students can receive help from successful local entrepreneurs from companies like Samsung Biologics, Celltrion, and GM, and start their own businesses."
He explained, "I have developed and constructed many areas like Pangyo, Gwanggyo New Town, Dasan New Town, and Pyeongtaek Industrial Complex. I persuaded Samsung Electronics, which was planning to move its semiconductor business abroad, to build the world's largest Samsung semiconductor complex in Pyeongtaek over five years."
He criticized, "I have developed and built many infrastructures, but have you ever heard that I am under investigation? Have you heard that any civil servants around me died during investigations? No. But the current Democratic Party candidate you know has five trials."
He argued, "The Democratic Party candidate was recently convicted by the Supreme Court for violating the Public Official Election Act by spreading false information. Instead of reflecting on his mistakes, he talks about impeaching the Chief Justice, investigating the Chief Justice, and holding a hearing for the Chief Justice. This is what we call 'the pot calling the kettle black.'"
Candidate Kim urged citizens to vote, saying, "Korea is at a crossroads between democracy and dictatorship. It is you who can protect democracy and prevent dictatorship. Your precious vote can protect democracy in this country, revive the economy, save our local businesses, and help students get jobs."
