Taihan Electric Wire Expands Bus Duct Production Capacity Threefold

[Financial News] Taihan Electric Wire announced on the 29th that it has expanded the dedicated bus duct factory within the Dangjin cable factory in Chungnam by three times compared to the existing capacity and started full-scale mass production from the 27th.
Taihan Electric Wire has been conducting factory expansion and facility construction since November last year to target the bus duct market, and completed related construction this month.
The bus duct acts as a medium for delivering electrical energy to buildings. Taihan Electric Wire plans to accelerate its entry into the large-capacity distribution market with epoxy material bus ducts that have high heat resistance and high insulation characteristics. The global bus duct market size is expected to grow from 14 trillion won in 2022 to about 23 trillion won in 2028.
Among them, epoxy material bus ducts are expected to expand demand centered on data centers, smart buildings, and semiconductor factories, as they demonstrate stable performance even in high voltage and high temperature environments. A representative of Taihan Electric Wire said, "The bus duct has great growth potential in the global market and future demand is expected to increase, so we plan to continue strengthening competitiveness with strong commitment to technology and product development."
