【Financial News Gunsan=Kang In Reporter】 Jeonbuk Gunsan City announced on the 29th that it will implement a project to grant detailed addresses by authority to crisis households to secure a social safety net.

This project aims to secure a welfare safety net by granting detailed addresses to households in multi-family buildings that lack unit, floor, or room addresses, making it difficult to receive various administrative services.

A detailed address is information displayed after the building number in a road name address. One-room apartments and multi-family houses without unit, floor, or room numbers in the building register are granted addresses upon application by the owner or tenant. Without a detailed address, it is difficult to receive mail or support from social institutions.

Additionally, documents sent by public institutions may not be delivered, leading to disadvantages such as arrears, seizures, or fines.

Gunsan City plans to grant detailed addresses by authority to 71 households within the area this year and aims to grant them to a total of 225 households by 2027.

A Gunsan City official stated, "By granting detailed addresses by authority, we can identify crisis households that had difficulty receiving welfare benefits or public services and expand the social safety net."
