[Financial News] Samil PwC announced on the 29th that it will hold a seminar on the theme of 'Indonesian New Government Economic Policy and Major Industry Issues and Directions for Domestic Companies' on the 20th of next month at the Amore Hall on the 2nd floor of its headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
This seminar is prepared to examine the changing economic policy direction and major industry issues after the launch of the Indonesian new government and to present directions for domestic companies' response strategies.
Indonesia has established itself as the center of the Southeast Asian economy based on a population of 280 million. Since the launch of the new government in October last year, expectations for foreign investment have increased, and domestic companies' interest is also growing. However, as various factors such as tax policy and regulatory environment change rapidly, a cautious approach from investors is required.
The seminar consists of three sessions. In the first session, Taehoon Jung, leader of the PwC Indonesia Korean Business Desk, will introduce the economic policy trends of the Indonesian new government. Following this, Eric Darmawan, a partner at PwC Indonesia, will analyze changes in the M&A market, and finally, Honghyun Kim, leader of Samil PwC's Overseas Investment Tax Advisory, will cover major industry trends and domestic companies' response strategies.
Honghyun Kim, the Samil PwC partner who planned this seminar, said, "It is important to accurately understand and proactively prepare response strategies for the rapidly changing Indonesian policy and industrial environment," adding, "This seminar will provide practical insights for domestic companies seeking to enter and expand their business in the Indonesian market."
Applications for seminar participation and detailed information can be found on the official Samil PwC website.
