Expansion of 'Social Contribution Projects' Based on Kookmin Bank Support
[Financial News] Jasaeng Medical Foundation announced on the 29th that it signed a 'Business Agreement for Mutual Development' with KB Kookmin Bank at the Jasaeng Medi Bio Center located in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 28th. The signing ceremony was attended by Park Byeong-mo, Chairman of Jasaeng Medical Foundation, Ko Deok-gyun, Deputy President of KB Kookmin Bank's Gangnam Regional Sales Group, and about 20 other key officials from both companies.
Through this agreement, Jasaeng Medical Foundation and Jasaeng Korean Medicine Hospital will select KB Kookmin Bank as their main bank and provide business support. Additionally, KB Kookmin Bank will offer financial service conveniences such as preferential interest rates on credit loans for medical staff and employees of Jasaeng Medical Foundation and Jasaeng Korean Medicine Hospital.
In particular, KB Kookmin Bank also promised to support funds for the expansion of Jasaeng Medical Foundation's social contribution projects. The support period is five years until May 19, 2030.
Jasaeng Medical Foundation plans to further accelerate its social contribution activities with the support of KB Kookmin Bank. Jasaeng Medical Foundation supports 800 descendants of independence activists and vulnerable national merit recipients annually (400 each in the first and second half of the year) and holds the Jasaeng Hope Dream Bazaar to conduct donation events for low-income youth. In addition, Jasaeng Medical Foundation is continuously carrying out social contribution activities to support various sectors of society.
Park Byeong-mo, Chairman of Jasaeng Medical Foundation, said, "I am very pleased to be able to expand social contribution projects based on the support of KB Kookmin Bank, which is responsible for the people's finance," and "We will continue to contribute to creating a healthy and sustainable society based on the expertise and social responsibility of both institutions."
