Global medical aesthetics company Hugel moved into the Gangwon Technopark venture factory in January 2007, establishing production facilities and receiving various technical support through the resident company support program, including production process improvement, prototype development, and product consulting.
As a result, in 2015, it became the first resident company of Gangwon Technopark to successfully list on KOSDAQ, achieving annual sales of 319.7 billion won, employment of 611 people, and a market capitalization of approximately 3.3401 trillion won at the time of graduation, growing into a representative pharmaceutical bio company in Gangwon Province.
Hugel will officially graduate from being a resident company of Gangwon Technopark in June.
At the meeting, Lee Sang-beom, Head of Production Headquarters at Hugel, expressed gratitude, saying, "The full support from Gangwon Technopark has been a great help from the early startup to the current growth."
Heo Jang-hyeon, Director of Gangwon Technopark, stated, "Hugel is a representative case showing that a company from Gangwon Province can succeed in the global market," and added, "We hope to continue exchanges and cooperation even after graduation to jointly create the growth of the regional industrial ecosystem."
