[Financial News] Korea Expressway Corporation announced on the 29th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding for mutual cooperation in the road and transportation sector with PLUS Corporation, a Malaysian highway operator.
The Corporation expects that through this agreement, both organizations will cooperate more closely in the road and transportation infrastructure sector to create synergy. Key areas of cooperation include △ highway asset management such as pavement quality △ AI-based traffic and safety management, and related technology and personnel exchanges will continue.
Jin-kyu Ham, President of Korea Expressway Corporation, said, "This agreement will greatly help expand the Corporation's overseas business capabilities in Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries," adding, "We look forward to both organizations communicating closely and developing cooperation plans in the future."
