【Financial News Jeonju=Kang In Reporter】 Shin Jin-sik, who was called the 'Brown Bomber' in professional volleyball and gained great popularity, donated memorabilia for the establishment of the Jeonbuk Sports History Museum.

According to the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Sports Association on the 29th, Shin Jin-sik donated various medals, trophies, photos, and memorabilia, including the gold medal from the 2002 Busan Asian Games, the day before.

He graduated from Iksan Namseong Middle School and Namseong High School and was a volleyball superstar in Korea in the 1990s and 2000s.

In professional volleyball, he set a record of 77 consecutive wins with Kim Se-jin as part of Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, leading to nine consecutive championship victories in professional volleyball.

As a national representative, he won a silver medal at the Bangkok Asian Games (1998), a gold medal at the Busan Asian Games (2002), and a gold medal at the Doha Asian Games (2006).

After retirement, he served as the coach of Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance.

Shin Jin-sik said, "I hope it will help in the construction of the Jeonbuk Sports History Museum. I hope the Jeonbuk Sports Association will take the lead in the development of Korean sports, including volleyball."
