Lee Jae-myung "Confident in Unification with Lee Jun-seok" Suddenly Attacks.. Lee "Seeing Things?"

[Financial News] Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party's presidential candidate, predicted on the 29th that Kim Moon-soo of the People Power Party and Lee Jun-seok of the Reform Party would eventually unify. He anticipated that the condition would be the People Power Party covering Lee Jun-seok's campaign expenses, criticizing it as a crime. Lee Jun-seok retorted, "Are you seeing things?"

Lee Jae-myung claimed on SNS that day, "Lee Jun-seok, who used to sell dog meat under the guise of lamb's head, says he will never unify, but I am confident he will eventually give up his candidacy and unify with Kim Moon-soo in a coalition of rebellion, corruption, and division."
Candidate Kim waited at the National Assembly Members' Office Building until near midnight for unification talks with Lee Jun-seok but ultimately did not meet. Candidate Kim stated that he would continue discussions until the main voting day, while Lee Jun-seok maintained that there would be no unification.
Lee Jae-myung criticized Lee Jun-seok, saying, "Although he advocates for young reform, he will ultimately not give up his vested interests and will surrender to the forces of rebellion and corruption," adding, "The condition for unification seems to be party leadership and campaign expense coverage, and if true, it is a serious election crime of candidate bribery."
To receive reimbursement for election expenses from the Central Election Management Committee, a candidate must exceed 10% of the vote. If over 10%, half is reimbursed, and if over 15%, the full amount is reimbursed. Lee Jun-seok's support rate in the last public opinion poll before the publication ban period was around 10%.


Lee Jun-seok immediately responded on SNS, saying, "Lee Jae-myung, who believed in election fraud theories, is once again falling into the swamp of delusion," and "If you see things, it's time to step back."
Lee Jae-myung had previously raised suspicions of electronic vote counting fraud in the 2017 presidential election won by former President Park Geun-hye. When Lee Jun-seok pointed out during the second presidential candidate TV debate that it was similar to the election fraud theory cited by former President Yoon Seok-yeol as a reason for declaring martial law, Lee Jae-myung presented false information, saying it was aimed at the National Intelligence Service's comment manipulation, not vote counting.
Meanwhile, just two days ago, Lee Jae-myung praised Lee Jun-seok's rejection of the unification proposal as "a courageous decision of a true conservative." The background of the sudden attack is the controversy over Lee Jun-seok's 'chopstick remark' during the last presidential candidate debate on the 27th.
Lee Jun-seok's chopstick remark has sparked criticism for misogyny, and it was revealed that the remark quoted an obscene internet post for which Lee Jae-myung's son, Mr. Lee, was fined 5 million won. The People Power Party and the Reform Party demanded an apology from Lee Jae-myung, while the Democratic Party countered by pointing out that the original expression referred to men, but Lee Jun-seok changed it to be misogynistic.
