[Financial News] Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 29th that it will promote a responsible drinking culture by marking its alcoholic beverage products with a responsible drinking campaign label.
Lotte Chilsung Beverage has enhanced readability by creating icons for precautions when consuming alcohol under the slogan 'Drink Responsibly', including △prohibition of underage drinking △prohibition of drinking for pregnant women △prohibition of drunk driving.
Lotte Chilsung Beverage has applied its self-developed mark to major products such as Soju and Beer, including Cheoeumcheoreom, Saero, and Crush Full Open Can, and plans to expand its application to more diverse products in the future.
Lotte Chilsung Beverage planned this activity as part of a global initiative following its membership in the 'International Alliance for Responsible Drinking (IARD)'. According to the 'National Health Promotion Act Partial Amendment Bill', from March next year, containers for alcoholic beverages for sale must include phrases or pictures warning of the dangers of drunk driving. Lotte Chilsung Beverage's strategy is to proactively introduce this in line with the purpose of the amended law.
A representative from Lotte Chilsung Beverage said, "We have made the precautions for establishing a correct drinking culture easy to understand by making them into icons and have proactively introduced them."
