【Financial News Suwon=Jang Chung-sik Reporter】Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced on the 29th that it will launch and start selling the 'Landmark Package' product, which bundles representative tourist attractions in southern Gyeonggi and northern Chungnam, among the 'Bay Valley Tour Pass' products in June.
The 'Bay Valley Tour Pass' is a super-regional tourism product planned based on the 'Bay Valley Mega City' policy connecting the southern region of Gyeonggi (Siheung, Hwaseong, Ansan, Pyeongtaek, Anseong) and the northern region of Chungnam (Cheonan, Asan, Seosan, Dangjin, Yesan).
The newly introduced 'Landmark Package' is available in two options, allowing free use of 2 or 4 popular tourist attractions representing both regions.
For the Big 2 option, it is priced at 15,900 won, allowing use of 2 places including 1 in Gyeonggi and 1 in Chungnam, while the Big 4 option is priced at 29,900 won, allowing use of 4 landmark tourist spots including 2 in Gyeonggi and 2 in Chungnam within 30 days.
This is approximately 44% discounted compared to regular prices (admission fees), providing tourists with substantial travel cost savings.
Currently, 17 affiliated facilities are available, including △Seohaerang Cable Car (Hwaseong) △Jeongok·Jebu Marina Yacht Experience (Hwaseong) △Anseong Namsadang Performance Hall (Anseong) △Anseong Farmland (Anseong) △Asan Rail Bike (Asan) △Sapgyoho Hamseong Park and Marine Theme Experience Center (Dangjin) △Naepo Bo Busangchon (Yesan), with plans to expand to up to 40 locations in the future.
This product can be purchased through online sales channels such as Naver Smart Store and Yogi-Oh, along with a launch commemorative discount promotion.
In June, the 'Bay Valley Tour Pass' in the form of an 'integrated use ticket' will be officially launched, further expanding the choices for tourists, with plans to sell it in 24-hour and 48-hour forms, including various benefits such as experiences, activities, and dining.
An official from the organization said, "This Bay Valley Tour Pass is the first super-regional tourism pass created by Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheongnam-do together, and it is expected to greatly contribute to the linkage of tourism between regions and the increase of tourist influx," adding, "We will continue to expand affiliated facilities and conduct joint marketing to establish a successful super-regional tourism model."
