According to DK Asia on the 29th, the popular MBN variety show 'Dwiyeoya Sanda' recently completed filming. 'Dwiyeoya Sanda' captures the marathon preparation process of celebrity runners like Sean, Lee Young-pyo, Heo Jae, and Yang Joon-hyuk, reflecting the new travel trend of 'Runtrip' (running and traveling) as healing content in the era of 10 million marathon enthusiasts.
Filming took place at Shingeomdan Royal Park City II's large-scale walking trails boasting 1.8 million trees, water features stretching 430 meters, and four tea houses. The training and relaxation of the cast, dining scenes at the Trinity Lounge within the complex, and the swimming pool were vividly captured. DK Asia provided all marathon finishers with a private yacht service voucher as a prize, and medical staff from the International St. Mary's Hospital of Catholic Kwandong University were on standby to ensure the health of the celebrity runners.
Additionally, the OBS National Health Project 'National Gymnastics' is scheduled to be filmed in early June. It is planned to reinterpret the national gymnastics of the past in a modern way for enjoyment by all ages.
Drama filming is also active. KBS completed filming a drama (starring Lee Young-ae) using Royal Park City II as the backdrop, and JTBC also filmed a drama based on a popular novel here. Disney Plus and Netflix also filmed at Royal Park City II in preparation for airing later this year.
Cho Hyun-wook, Executive Director of DK Asia, said, "Shingeomdan Royal Park City II is loved by both production crews and cast members as a space where high-end residential facilities, community infrastructure equivalent to a six-star hotel, and landscaping surpassing the top-notch Gangnam complex One Bailey come together perfectly, earning it the nickname 'a movie-like home'. We will continue to collaborate with various content to widely promote the charm of Royal Park City as a leading resort city and high-end city brand in Korea."
