KOSPI Surpasses 2700 for the First Time in 9 Months... Continuous Uptrend During the Day [fn Morning Market]

[Financial News] As of 10:17 AM on the 29th, the KOSPI index is recording 2707.50, up 37.35p (1.40%) from the previous trading day, surpassing the 2700 mark for the first time in about 9 months and continuing its upward trend.
The rise in KOSPI on this day is analyzed to be due to improved investor sentiment following the strong performance announcement by the US semiconductor company Nvidia and the expansion of foreign buying. Foreigners are currently buying 119.7 billion KRW worth of stocks. Institutions are also net buying 280.3 billion KRW worth.
By sector, securities (6.77%) and construction (3.96%) are showing strength, while entertainment/culture (-1.38%) and pharmaceuticals (-0.21%) are showing weakness.
