Lee Jae-myung's Campaign Committee "Kim Moon-soo should face judicial judgment, not public choice"

[Financial News] The "Real Korea" election campaign committee of Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party presidential candidate, criticized Kim Moon-soo, the People Power Party presidential candidate, stating that "he should face judicial judgment, not the choice of the people."

Yoon Ho-jung, the head of the campaign committee, said at a meeting of the headquarters chiefs held at the Yeouido party headquarters in the morning, "New evidence emerges daily that Candidate Kim and the rebellion forces are a community of fate," and made this statement.

Yoon further stated, "After the final candidate of the People Power Party was decided, former Prime Minister Han Deok-soo, who had been in hiding for 17 days, publicly declared his support for Candidate Kim Moon-soo the day after it was announced that he was banned from leaving the country as a suspect. It seems that the calculation that his safety would be guaranteed only if Candidate Kim is elected moved former Prime Minister Han, who was otherwise immovable."

Yoon continued, "The day before yesterday, Candidate Kim, who denied rebellion and refused to apologize during a TV debate, announced early voting in Incheon today under the slogan 'Incheon Landing Operation, the Dawn of a Great Reversal.' However, Candidate Kim caused chaos at the 1986 Incheon direct election rally, leading to massive suppression and arrest of the democratization movement, and ultimately, the direct election movement could not continue," he pointed out.

Yoon further criticized, "In October of that year, over 1,300 students were collectively arrested, and only after the sacrifices of martyrs Park Jong-cheol and Lee Han-yeol did the June Struggle of 1987 succeed. Yet, the person who tried to make Incheon a base for violent revolution, extending Chun Doo-hwan's military dictatorship by another year, now claims to land in Incheon as a puppet of the far-right rebellion forces 40 years later. Does that make sense?"

Additionally, Yoon emphasized, "The most easy and powerful means to put a definite end to rebellion and launch the signal for building the real Korea is only through voting," and urged, "If you dream of a completely different today from yesterday and a better tomorrow than today, please come out to the polling station and choose candidate number 1, Lee Jae-myung."
