[Financial News] Hyosung Heavy Industries announced on the 29th that it signed a business agreement with Seoul Energy Corporation for the 'Creation of a Hydrogen Economy Ecosystem' at its headquarters in Mapo, Seoul on the 28th. The signing ceremony was attended by Woo Tae-hee, CEO of Hyosung Heavy Industries, Hwang Bo-yeon, President of Seoul Energy Corporation, and other officials from both companies.
Through this agreement, the two companies will jointly promote △ the construction of liquid hydrogen charging stations and the development of safety standards △ localization and demonstration cooperation of charging facilities △ discovery of joint projects for clean hydrogen power generation.
Hyosung Heavy Industries is currently holding the number one market share in the domestic hydrogen charging station market and has established a liquid hydrogen production and supply system through a joint venture with global gas company Linde. They plan to install a total of 21 charging stations nationwide, and in October last year, they completed the first liquid hydrogen charging station in Gwangyang, Jeonnam.
CEO Woo stated, "Based on nearly 20 years of accumulated experience in the hydrogen charging business and cooperation with Seoul Energy Corporation, we will take the lead in making Seoul a global hydrogen city."
