LG U+ has partnered with generative AI specialist 'Ruiten Technologies' to provide differentiated artificial intelligence (AI) experiences to customers.
LG U+ and Ruiten announced on the 29th that they signed a 'Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)' for AI service activation and usability improvement at the LG U+ building in Yongsan, Seoul on the 28th. Lee Jaewon, head of LG U+ Consumer Division, and Lee Se-young, CEO of Ruiten, attended the business agreement ceremony.
Ruiten is a domestic startup that provides personalized AI chatbot, AI character chat service, and open-source-based AI agent development service based on generative AI technology.
The two companies plan to enhance services so that customers can easily and efficiently use AI services in their daily lives through this collaboration. LG U+ plans to expand services so that customers can directly experience the utility of AI by providing Ruiten's content through its AI agent service 'Ixio'.
LG U+ is focusing on securing the AI ecosystem by collaborating with various AI startups. In fact, LG U+ launched the open innovation program 'Shift' last year and selected 8 startups to promote AI-related business cooperation.
Lee Jaewon, head of LG U+ Consumer Division, said, "The goal is to make it easier for customers to utilize AI technology in their daily lives," and added, "We will continue to introduce new AI experiences through cooperation with various technology partners."
Lee Se-young, CEO of Ruiten, said, "This collaboration is significant as it is an execution-centered partnership between an AI startup and a telecommunications company," and added, "We will strive to ensure that more customers can conveniently experience Ruiten's lifestyle AI in their daily lives."
