"Economy, opportunity, and growth together with all the people"
[Financial News] Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party presidential candidate, promised on the 29th to restore fairness in the stock market and realize the 'KOSPI 5000 era' through industrial restructuring, delivering the message "Together with 14 million ants, together with 52 million people."
Candidate Lee publicly criticized the unfair market operations and lack of industrial policy during the conservative regime through a campaign message conducted at a studio in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, released via social networking services (SNS).
Candidate Lee pointed out, "The economy thrives on rationality and predictability. However, during the past conservative government, the market was unfair, and domestic capital fled to the US stock market."
Additionally, Candidate Lee emphasized, "A competent Democratic government will establish a fair market order and transparently change corporate governance," and "We will realize new hope in the stock market, which was constrained by the 'Korea Discount,' with 'KOSPI 5000.'"
At the site, young people also directly delivered policy proposal panels called 'Quest Panel.' In response, Candidate Lee mentioned, "I will definitely create a country where young people can dream again."
Furthermore, Candidate Lee added, "We will discover new growth engines to create a country where everyone can enjoy opportunities," and "We will ensure that people who follow the rules and live diligently are not treated unfairly without dividing the people."
