'16.5 Billion' Raemian One Bailey Penthouse Buyer is Mega Coffee Founder

[Financial News] The owner who purchased Raemian One Bailey in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul for 16.5 billion won has been identified as Mr. A, the former CEO and founder of MegaMGC Coffee.
On the 28th, according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's real transaction system, a 234.98㎡ 35th-floor unit in Raemian One Bailey was traded for 16.5 billion won in February this year. It is the highest transaction price for the complex. The buyer completed the ownership registration this month.
According to the registry, Mr. A appears to have purchased the unit after residing in another building of Raemian One Bailey.
Raemian One Bailey is a complex reconstructed by Samsung C&T, integrating the Sinbanpo 3rd and Gyeongnam Apartments. It consists of 23 buildings (4 basement floors, 35 above-ground floors) with 2,990 units and was completed in August 2023. In March this year, a unit with a dedicated area of 84㎡, known as the 'national standard size,' was traded for 7 billion won. It is the first case where the price per 3.3㎡ of the national standard size among domestic apartments exceeded 2 billion won.
