Indicates 'Legal Action' for Distributed Nude Photos
[Financial News] The fitness YouTuber Malwang, with 1.65 million subscribers, who confessed to being a victim of bodycam phishing, warned of legal action regarding the distribution of his nude photos.
Malwang announced on his YouTube channel on the 27th, “I will explain the beginning and conclusion of the incident,” and said, “I have been doing personal broadcasting for 8 to 9 years when I received a message. It was about offering an underwear modeling proposal.” Malwang took a model test by wearing underwear and doing a fashion show via video call. At that time, the person in charge praised Malwang’s physique, saying “The fit is good.”
Malwang said, “The person in charge didn’t show their face but showed their physique. The physique was really good. We didn’t keep in touch consistently but stopped and showed again,” and explained, “Both were full of youthful zeal, so it could make one feel good. So, we had a happy time together.” He continued, “It was suspicious that they didn’t show their face for a long time while maintaining a win-win relationship,” and confessed, “So I asked them to ‘squeeze their chest,’ and then the call abruptly ended.”
Eventually, Malwang cut off contact and blocked the person’s account. Then, the person contacted him through another contact saying, ‘Let’s feel good once more,’ and even resorted to monetary blackmail.
Malwang said, “I just said boldly, ‘Expose it all.’ Later, I received a report that my photo was uploaded to a gay community about 3 to 4 years ago,” and lamented, “There were increasing attacks mentioning (the distributed photo) even in my personal broadcasts, so I thought ‘I have to talk about this.’”
He explained, “Aren’t there many women who upload videos to show off their physique? I edited and showed short clips of such people’s videos. I thought that person was real,” adding that the perpetrator was a man pretending to be a woman, not a cross-dresser.
Malwang revealed that he is gathering materials for legal action regarding the leak of his nude photos. He said, “Fortunately, I didn’t suffer financial damage,” but warned, “However, since my video was not privately held but leaked, and that leak could lead to second, third, and fourth damages, I am preparing each one by taking PDFs.”
Finally, Malwang said, “Many people are comforting me, but I was never troubled. It’s my fault. It’s true that I made a mistake because I’m not smart and couldn’t overcome my sexual desire, so it doesn’t matter to me,” and added, “I’m just sorry to my friends and employees who trust me, and I apologize for letting you know facts you didn’t want to know.”
