According to the information technology (IT) industry on the 29th, OpenAI posted a job opening on the business professional social networking service (SNS) LinkedIn for personnel to work at the Seoul office. The positions OpenAI is hiring for this time include △Solutions Engineer △Solution Architect △Account Director Digital Native △Account Director Large Enterprise △Account Director Strategics △Customer Success Manager, totaling 6 fields.



The work format is a hybrid model where employees work from the Seoul office at least three times a week while also working from home. Applicants must be fluent in both Korean and English, and the required experience ranges from a minimum of 5 years to a maximum of 14 years, depending on the position. Additional specific conditions include having achieved an annual revenue target of over 2 million dollars (approximately 2.75 billion won) for more than three years, having over five years of collaboration experience with global large enterprises (Fortune 500 companies), and direct collaboration experience with senior executives (C-level). The focus is on securing skilled professionals who can make an immediate impact.
OpenAI has also outlined the type of talent they are looking for. Applicants need to have a high curiosity and passion for AI, and a sense of responsibility and consideration for ethical AI. Some postings mention that individuals who are interested in building and precisely executing operational systems and processes from scratch, referred to as 'Builders,' are suitable.
Previously, OpenAI officially established its domestic corporation on the 26th and announced that it would soon open its first office in Seoul. Through this, they plan to strengthen partnerships not only with domestic users, companies, and developers but also with the government. Especially, as they continue to maintain close collaborative relationships with leading domestic IT companies such as Kakao, active business expansion is expected.
